After years of waiting, the first test of the Space Launch System and the Orion capsule has finally arrived. After two failed attempts over the summer, NASA will be aiming to launch Artemis 1 on November 16 at 10:04 p.m. PST. This mission will be the first step for humans to return to the moon by the end of the decade. Come learn more about this exciting mission and updates about the Artemis program. Eduardo came to the Taylor through Kelseyville High School’s community service program and was trained by former Observatory Coordinator Barbara McIntyre. At Taylor, he pursued his intense interest in all things solar system-related. He worked as an observatory assistant at Taylor and is currently a FOTO board member. Eduardo completed his AS in Earth Science and Geology at Mendocino College and is currently pursuing a Geology degree at UC Davis.
