Window to the Universe is Cancelled for
March 21st Due to Covid-19
- Reluctantly, the Friends of Taylor Observatory is cancelling the Saturday, March 21 “Window to the Universe” evening. The speaker was to be Clear Lake HS student Mackenzie Markham, speaking on Dark Matter. We’ll re-schedule her later.
- Other activities at the Taylor are continuing, including the Friday Night openings and the Astronomy Course led by Taylor’s Program Coordinator Angelo Parisi. Drop by on Friday . . we may be looking at, and maybe photographing, the exciting new comet, C2019/Y4 Allen.
- The next Astronomy Course evening is Wed. March 18 (tickets available via the Friends of Taylor Observatory website Click Here.) Ursa Major is up for discussion then, coincidentally the position of Comet Allen.
