The Earth spins alone in space, vulnerable to all sorts of cosmic dangers.
Lurking in space are killer asteroids, cosmic rays, and supernova to name
just a few. If you really want to be frightened this Halloween come to Taylor
Observatory and learn about all the different cosmic dangers that exist and
what is being done to protect the Earth!
After each show (weather permitting) guests are invited to view the night
sky through the Observatory’s telescopes.
Whether you’re a seasoned astronomer or just curious about the cosmos,
this event promises to be an unforgettable experience. This event is open
to all Lake County families.
This event will be hosted by Lake County Office of Education Astronomy
expert Angelo Parisi.
