The Taylor Observatory and the Lake County Office of Education present “Out There – The Quest for Extrasolar Worlds” an immersive planetarium show exploring how our curiosity has driven us to look outwards since the dawn of humanity. With the world’s most powerful telescopes we are able to explore more and more of the universe. What we are finding has surpassed even the wildest expectations of scientists. Most stars have planets – it turns out they are more common than we thought. A huge diversity of different worlds is out there, just waiting to be discovered.
After “Out There” we will explore the many highlights in the current evening sky. These include bright stars, constellations, planets, and distant galaxies.
