On Saturday, October 14, 2023 the moon will pass directly between the Earth and the Sun blocking almost 80% of the sun’s light. Come to the Taylor Observatory in Kelseyville to safely view this spectacular celestial event though the observatory’s solar telescopes.
The eclipse will last a total of 2 hours 36 minutes, beginning at 8:04 am, reaching maximum at 9:19am, and ending at 10:41am.
Free solar eclipse glasses will provided by the Lake County Office of Education while supplies last.
