Join us for a live musical performance under the stars in the planetarium. For over twenty years the Traveling Star Show* has been singing their very silly astronomy songs to audiences of all ages. This show is designed for family entertainment and introduces children to the concepts of Galaxies, the life cycle of stars, and the physical nature of the sun. After the performance (weather permitting) guests are invited to view the night sky through the Observatory’s telescopes.
*In 2004 the Traveling Star Show was awarded the Astronomical Society of the Pacific’s Los Cumbres Amateur Outreach Award for outstanding amateur outreach to children and the lay public.
